Two best friends started Purple Cow from the humble roots of production managing and providing audio and crew for a few small-scale touring tribute acts. Our first couple of gigs helped spark an undeniable hunger to make tribute acts look and sound every bit as good as the real deal. From those experiences, we’ve had the opportunity to pick the brains of the real crews from many major touring acts about how to work so we could accurately replicate them- their sound and their vibe. 

Even if you are still working towards achieving the ideal sound and vibe, we’ve  made these acts behave like the real thing by ensuring they have day schedules and timelines and the right equipment at all times. We've also spent years learning the science of sound and how to best build an audio system that fits a venue’s space. 

At Purple Cow, we understand that price can be a major factor in the decision process of any business. Given that understanding, we will work within your budget and give you the best sounding system that makes sense, given your financial considerations. Throughout our years in the industry, we’ve been able to make every penny work like a dollar. That could mean that there may be some equipment your venue or your band  has on hand that's older or not the industry standard. Knowing the capabilities of that gear and how to make it work like its expensive counterparts is something that we’ve done for a long time. Not only is equipment important but the personnel operating it matters a ton as well. Purple Cow sets the highest standard for our staff and we want to make sure that our crew is the best possible to ensure a high quality end product.
